Andy Grice - Minister

My name is Andy Grice and it is my honour to be called the minister of Salem. I’m married, with 3 teenage children and have been a Salem since 2007. Previously to that I was at Theological College in Bristol, before that I worked in Student Ministry in London, in IT in the Midlands and studied Biochemistry at university. I enjoy cooking (and eating!), watching rugby, and tv boxsets. My hope as a minister is to help people hear, understand and respond to the words of Jesus revealed to us in the Bible.

I’m delighted that you are interested in finding out more about our family of faith here at Salem, and I would be happy to answer any questions you may have. If you are just beginning to investigate the Christian faith it may be worth arranging a time to meet up so I can answer any questions you may have and help you in your journey of discovery.

I think it is really important for Christians to belong to a local church. If you are looking for a church in Cheltenham, I hope you feel very welcome at Salem and if it’s right, that you will settle and become a part of our family of faith. However, if you don’t think that Salem is for you, please let me know and I’ll do my best to recommend a local fellowship that might suit you better.

To be honest the best way to find out about us is to spend time with us at our main meeting on Sunday mornings at 10:30am at 129 St. George’s Rd. However, I hope that the information on this website helps to fill in some of the detail. You’ll find a copy of our Vision Statement, recordings of our services and various other bits of information that we hope will help you understand who Salem is and what we are about.

I look forward to getting to hear from you.
